The 2:19 played their first ever gig in Northern Ireland here back in July 2022

Initially formed in Belfast as a cover band immediately pre-pandemic, The 2:19 are making serious waves on the International Blues and Roots scene following the release of their 2021 album of original songs – Revelator, and its follow-up, We Will Get Through This, released in January 2023.

The band was nominated for Band of the Year at the 2023 UK Blues Awards, and We Will Get Through This, which spent two months at number 3 on the UK Independent Blues Broadcasters Association album chart, was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2024 awards.

The band has had significant airplay in Ireland and all around the world, including the US, Canada, Australia and Europe.

Over the last two years since their live debut, the band has played a string of sold out shows around Ireland, as well as headlining the Belfast City Blues Festival.

The band is currently in the process of adding the finishing touches to a third album, anticipated for release in the coming months
