Karl Devlin
Karl Devlin is Belfast born bred, and for the past twenty years has been working his way around the outskirts of the Belfast music scene, playing the streets, corners, homeless shelters, protest rallies as well as throughout the bars across Belfast & beyond .
His Debut album is a collection of songs written in the various styles of the delta blues but with the influence of his beloved Belfast and Ireland unmistakably running throughout. Drawing inspiration from such seminal figures as Charley Patton, Son House, lead belly, Robert Johnson, to Woody Guthrie and Dylan but also of Davey Graham and Bert Jansch, with a touch of gypsy jazz to add to the flavour.
